VEGETABLES
Stir reconstituted Butter Buds (two ounces per pound of vegetables) into vegetables after they have been cooked or steamed, just before serving.

MASHED POTATOES
To give mashed potatoes a delightful rich buttery flavor without adding any fat, replace the butter or margarine in your mashed potato recipe with Butter Buds.

CLAM CHOWDER OR CREAM SOUPS
To give clam chowder or cream soups a rich, creamy flavor without adding any fat, simply replace the cream or oil in your recipe with the same amount of reconstituted Butter Buds. If your recipe calls for whole milk, substitute skim milk, add two ounces of reconstituted Butter Buds for each quart of skim milk. You will love the wonderful, rich, creamy flavor and texture, and your soup will be low in fat.

BAKED FISH
Just before serving, top off each serving of baked fish with a tablespoon of reconstituted Butter Buds and a few drops of lemon juice.

BAKED POTATOES
Spoon two tablespoons of reconstituted Butter Buds into an open baked potato to give it the delightful flavor of melted butter without adding any fat or cholesterol.

CORN ON THE COB
Give corn on the cob great butter flavor without adding any fat by spooning a modest quantity of reconstituted Butter Buds as it’s being served.

NOODLES and RICE
Give your noodle recipes or rice a rich, buttery flavor and texture without adding fat. Just stir in reconstituted Butter Buds in place of butter, cream, margarine, or oil.

HOW TO USE BUTTER BUDS TO REDUCE FAT
WITH MILK!

Whenever your recipe calls for milk, whole or low-fat, use skim milk instead and add two ounces of reconstituted Butter Buds with each quart of skim milk. You’ll love the rich, creamy flavor, and you will end up with less fat in your recipe because Butter Buds contains virtually no fat.
