Soak beans overnight in
tap water
Preheat oven to 275 degrees.
Layer beans, sugar, onions, sorghum, and
ham on a steam table pan. Stir in soy sauce,
Worcestershire, mustard, BUTTER BUDS, and
Lawry’s to taste. Add bean water and
up to one more cup to cover.
Bake uncovered for 5-6 hours,
stirring occasionally. If beans begin to
brown on top, cover with aluminum foil.
