INGREDIENTS:
2- #10 cans SLICED APPLES, undrained
1 cup BUTTER BUDS, unprepared
1# BROWN SUGAR
1 cup WHITE SUGAR
1½ T. CINNAMON
1 tsp. NUTMEG
1 tsp. SALT
1 cup FLOUR
PREPARATION:
Mix all ingredients together.
Pour mixture into 2" full or ½ pans.
Bake at 375° for at least 30 minutes or until apples are hot and thickened.
Keep in warmer or on service line.
SERVICE POINTERS:
Portion with unslotted service so vegetables stay warm and well seasoned.
Optional: Garnish with fresh, thinly-sliced apple slices in a "flower" pattern.
