Brown Sugar Walnut Bars
½ cup Butter Buds, dry
13 ½ oz. flour, all purpose
4 ½ tsp. Baking powder
1 tsp. Salt
2 Tbsp. oil
1 cup buttermilk, 1% milk fat
1 ½ cups brown sugar
4 egg whites
3 cups walnuts, chopped

Sift together dry BUTTER BUDS, flour, baking powder and salt.

Combine oil, buttermilk, brown sugar and egg whites; beat until light.

Add liquid mixture to dry ingredients, just until moistened; stir in walnuts.

Bake in half sheet pan that has been sprayed with BUTTERMIST pan spray, in a preheated 375 degree oven for 30-35 minutes, until lightly browned. Cool and cut into squares.

Yield: 50 2”x2” squares
